Text and utility tools that run entirely in your browser
Seven small tools for writing, signing up for accounts and converting values. Nothing you paste or type is uploaded, and there is nothing to install.
When would you use these?
These are the tools people open ten times a month and forget about the rest of the time. When you are writing, the word counter tracks words, characters, sentences and reading time against common limits, the text cleaner removes stray spaces, line breaks and formatting, and special characters gives you symbols to copy and paste in one click.
When you are creating an account, the password generator builds strong random passwords with true cryptographic randomness and shows their strength in bits, and the username generator suggests handles in different styles so you can find one that is not taken. For design and measurement work, the color converter translates between HEX, RGB and HSL, and the unit converter converts length, weight, temperature and more between US customary and metric units.
Because everything runs locally, these tools are safe to use with drafts, passwords and private text. No file or text leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. All of these tools run in your browser. The text you paste into the word counter or text cleaner never leaves your device.
Are the generated passwords really random?
Yes. The password generator uses your browser's cryptographically secure random number source, not a simple pseudo-random function.
Can I use these tools offline?
Once a page has loaded, the tools keep working without a connection, because the calculations happen locally.
Do the converters use US units?
The unit converter supports US customary units such as pounds, miles and gallons alongside metric, so you can convert in either direction.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up or login for any tool on the site.
Generated names and passwords are suggestions. Check that a username is available on the service you use, and store passwords in a reputable password manager.
