Fun and games for groups, quick challenges and curiosity

Six small tools: draw a tarot card, see how two personality types fit together, split a group into random teams, draw a ladder to decide who gets what, test how fast you react, or chart your biorhythm cycles for fun.

When would you use these?

Choosing teams or an order is rarely about the result. It is about making the choice feel fair so nobody argues. The random team generator takes a list of names, a number of teams or a team size, and shuffles everyone with a cryptographic random source so every ordering is equally likely. Team sizes never differ by more than one person, you can name the teams, reshuffle as often as you like and copy the result into a chat.

The ladder game, known in Japan as Amidakuji, is the playful version. Enter two to ten players and the outcomes, press start, and tap each name to follow its path down the ladder. It is perfect for deciding who speaks first, who buys coffee or who gets which chore. It is a game of chance with slightly uneven odds, so for anything that really matters use the team generator's even shuffle.

For a little reflection, the tarot card reading draws a card of the day or a 3- or 5-card spread from the 22 Major Arcana with upright and reversed meanings, and the personality type compatibility tool scores any two of the 16 four-letter types and explains the pairing. Both are for entertainment and self-reflection, not predictions or advice.

For a quick personal challenge, the reaction time test measures in milliseconds how fast you click when the screen turns green and averages 3, 5 or 10 tries. The biorhythm calculator draws the 23-, 28- and 33-day cycles from a birth date as a curiosity; the theory is not scientifically validated, so treat it as entertainment only.

Frequently asked questions

Are the random teams fair?

The shuffle gives every ordering the same chance and sizes differ by at most one person. It does not balance skill, so pick captains or use a snake draft if you need balanced teams.

Is the ladder game fair?

Every player gets a different outcome, but odds are not perfectly equal because paths tend to stay near their starting column. It is great for fun and low-stakes choices.

How many people can I include?

The team generator accepts up to 300 names and 100 teams. The ladder game supports 2 to 10 players.

Can I save a list of names?

Yes, in your own browser. The team generator remembers your last list and the ladder game can reload the last group of players.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Both tools work without sign-up, and your names are never uploaded.
